This page explains how posinteriors.com uses cookies and similar technologies, what the optional services do and how to change your choices. Read our privacy policy for information about POS Interiors and your personal information rights.
Your choices
Use the Cookie Preferences control on the website to accept or decline optional analytics and marketing cookies. You can reopen it at any time. Browsing the website does not give consent to optional tracking, and you can contact us without accepting analytics or marketing cookies.
Our current Google Tag Manager setup contains both measurement and advertising tags. We therefore keep that container blocked unless you accept both analytics and marketing. If you withdraw either choice, the page reloads to stop those tags running on the current page.
What cookies do
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage and tracking pixels. Some support essential website functions. Others help measure visits, connect a visit with an advertising campaign or support advertising audiences.
Essential services
Squarespace provides the website, form handling and cookie preference controls. Essential storage supports functions such as security and remembering your choices. These functions do not depend on accepting optional analytics or advertising.
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam. It may process technical information about your device and interaction with the form. If you prefer not to use the form, you can email us or call 01481 740222. See Google's privacy policy and terms.
Analytics and advertising
- Squarespace analytics: helps us understand visits and website use. Its optional analytics cookies are controlled through the website's analytics choice.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: manage measurement tags and help us understand how people reach and use the website.
- Google advertising, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn: can measure advertising results and support advertising audiences, depending on the campaigns and tags in use. These services can receive device information, page activity and advertising identifiers.
- Enquiry attribution: when marketing is accepted, we may keep campaign references and advertising click identifiers in session storage and attach them to an enquiry. This helps identify which campaign led to the enquiry. This browser record is cleared when the tab session ends or marketing consent is withdrawn.
These optional services can involve information being processed outside Guernsey. Provider information is available from Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn and Squarespace.
Maps and embedded content
The Contact page offers a Google map showing our showroom at Guernsey Chamber of Commerce, Market Buildings. The map loads automatically when you open the Contact page. This connects your browser to Google, which receives technical information such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies. You can also use the written address or directions link. See Google’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
Other pages may contain third-party content, such as videos. Using that content can connect you to its provider. External links and content are subject to the relevant provider's privacy information.
How long information stays in your browser
Some cookies last for a browsing session. Others remain for a set period or until you remove them. Duration varies by provider and can change. For example, Squarespace lists a two-year duration for ss_cid, ss_cpvisit and ss_cvr, and 30 minutes for ss_cvisit and ss_cvt. See the current Squarespace cookie list for names, purposes and durations.
Changing your website preferences stops future optional tracking according to those choices. It does not necessarily remove every cookie a provider previously placed. You can also delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect some website functions.
Questions or concerns
Email hello@posinteriors.com if you have a question about these technologies or your choices. The privacy policy explains who is responsible for your information and how to exercise your rights. We update this page as the website's services change.
