Case Study

Linthwaite - Bespoke Furniture

This residential project involved us designing and manufacturing a range of bespoke furniture to meet the clients' specific requirements for their new home.

When Mr & Mrs Willis were redeveloping their home, they initially approached POS Interiors looking for a bespoke workstation to form part of their new living room.

After visiting the POS showroom, they were so impressed with our design knowledge, high quality use of materials and our manufacturing capability, they decided to award us the contract to provide all the bespoke furniture for their new home.

The project involved designing and manufacturing a bespoke range of multipurpose furniture including desk, storage and shelving systems. Real wood veneer finishes such as maple and walnut were incorporated into the design, along with bull-nose and square edge profiles. Integrated LED lighting was installed and concealed hinges and fixings were utilised to complement the style and functionality of the furniture.

What our clients say

We did a lot of research, mainly on the internet, before realising that we could have quality furniture of the type we were looking at supplied and fitted by a local firm. We visited POS and received attentive, helpful service. We were also impressed by the quality of items in the showroom and, despite a high powered attempt by a visiting well known UK firm, we decided to go with POS. Our requirements were not simple and POS worked carefully with us to ensure we achieved the result we wanted. The installation was done with pleasing attention to detail and we have now lived with the fitted furniture for a while; we remain very impressed with its quality. Such furniture does not come cheap, but in our case we feel we have got what we paid for. We would certainly consider POS again in the future and would be happy to recommend them to potential customers.
