Case Study

Martel Maides - Fit-Out

We were pleased to take on the task of refurbishing the new Martel Maides premises in Le Truchot, St Peter Port. This project involved a wide range of our capabilities, and we were delighted to learn that the client was pleased with the finished article.

We began this project by creating working drawings for the client, and assisting them with the selection and specification of office furnishings, fixtures and finishes.

On the client's behalf we then processed their building control applications, and once approved we carried out the strip-out and prepared the site, ready to begin our fit-out work.

The fit-out began with the construction of new drywall and MF plasterboard ceilings in the new reception and meeting room. Glass partitioning and suspended grid ceilings were then installed to form the new office space.

Our expert joinery department were tasked with creating a new reception counter, TV wall and illuminated glass feature wall. All custom designed in accordance with the client requirements and constructed in our workshop, each of which were then neatly fitted into the new premises.

This was followed by the installation of new Milliken flooring, featuring a mix of Per Contra carpet and Luxury Vinyl tiles.

Finally, we supplied and installed a carefully selected range of leading office furniture, including Flexido benching with Flo monitor arms and Tonique task chairs in the office. In the reception Solace armchairs were chosen for the waiting areas and Pontiac chairs were selected for the meeting room.

What our clients say

In moving from our old premises which we had occupied for over 20 years, Martel Maides' aim was to find a prominent, modern working environment which makes us, and our clients’ properties, very visible. Martel Maides promotes a fun and enthusiastic approach to what we do, delivered with a can-do attitude. The bright, sharp space that POS Interiors have created for us reflects this attitude, and the attention to detail they applied was first class!
