Case Study

Ciao Gusto

When Peppe & Sabino approached us to talk about the Gusto empire expanding, we jumped at the chance! Gusto has become a much-loved restaurant in Guernsey and people can’t get enough of the delicious pasta and fantastic service.

Both brothers were keen to open a takeaway & coffee shop, so Islanders can experience Gusto food, service, & excellent quality of Italian coffee & produce, whilst on the go. The brief was simple, create a beautiful coffee shop focussing on our bespoke craftsmanship & they would focus on the contents.

The previous business had moved out some time ago, so the shop was in need of a revamp. We re-build stud walls, decorated throughout, and laid a new LVT Floor from Milliken which has an intricate architect drawing design across it. Thanks to Transform Electrics for re doing the lighting throughout & to All Aspects Plumbing for helping with all the plumbing on this project. By using timber panels, we managed to create a beautifully bespoke counter. With each piece hand crafted & fitted to create this feature. The shop is finished with matt laminate detailing on the counter tops, bespoke scaffold pole shelves & Gusto’s new hand-crafted Neon sign which was the perfect finishing touch.

We wish you all success, and know that customers will love the coffee shop just as much as they love Gusto. We were delighted to be involved in this project & look forward to popping in for an espresso again soon.

POS have created Gusto Espresso for us, starting from the design, build, project management & finish. We found them to be professional and very capable, we were very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend POS-Peppe
