MANAGEMENT PROFILE

POS Interiors was formed in 1983 by Director David Inglis. Today it has established itself as one of the Channel Islands leading interior design, manufacturing, office furniture and shop-fitting companies.

We have a proven track record in the industry - both for our high quality workmanship as well as a service level that is second to none. Our company continues to develop and currently boasts a local workforce of 5 employees and a workshop, showroom and office complex covering over 5000sq ft.

Our single ambition is to be the best organisation in our field. For nearly 30 years we have aspired to this by promising customer satisfaction on every project, we let our clients know that their requirements will be met efficiently, cost effectively and with the right blend of design flair and practicality.

David Inglis

Director

David formed POS Interiors in 1983, having previously worked for an interior fit-out company in Guernsey. He recognised key opportunities not being engaged and this coupled with his desire to run his own business led to the formation of the company. 30 years later he takes great satisfaction from seeing what he has created and still deals with his long established clients, many of whom he has known from when he first formed the company.

Well known in the Island for supporting the local community David is a committee member for the CGi, Chairman of the Guernsey Island Games Association and Douzenier for the Parish of Torteval. In April 2012 David was elected as a Deputy for the States of Deliberation in Guernsey. He is currently Deputy Minister of Culture and Leisure. In his spare time David enjoys competing in golf and archery.

Rory Inglis

Director

Rory joined the company in November 2001 to work in the design office. He quickly progressed and developed his skills and qualified in 3D technical drawing. Over the past 10 years he has developed a vast knowledge and understanding of the Guernsey business scene and his interior design and project management skills support and contribute to his main responsibility of heading up business development for POS in the Channel Islands.

Away from the company Rory is a past President of the Young Business Group (YBG) and also served as a council member for the Chamber of Commerce Business Initiatives & Skills Sub-Committee. In his spare time Rory enjoys playing golf.

Ailsa Macgregor

Ailsa is the newest member to the POS Interiors team, joining in Spring 2013.

After completing a degree in Interior Design and Architecture in 2011 at Kingston University, she spent 18 months working for a local chartered architect, where she developed her knowledge of the built environment and the design process.

Ailsa has always worked closely with people, with a passion for customer service and working with clients to meet their design requirements. Ailsa is combining her professional work, whilst undertaking the HNC in Construction and the Built Environment, providing her with a detailed understanding of Guernsey's planning process and a holistic overview of construction projects.

Outside of work Ailsa enjoys photography, running and making the most of Guernsey's scenic cliff walks.
